It starts with your message - the words that will educate and excite your future customers to pay you a visit or give you a call. Content should drive design, and in turn, good visual design will navigate that carefully crafted content. The design will work with the words to reach out to consumers and convey those key messages, clearly and powerfully. When the right message comes together with the right visuals, consumers can make decisions with confidence and enthusiasm.

Key design elements include intuitive layouts that guide the reader's eye, expressive color schemes that reveal the business' personality and culture, and hand-picked typography that highlights key points and reads beautifully across the screen or on paper.

Developing a design concept is an organic process. I enjoy finding inspiration and substance in my clients' content, their target audience, and their business culture and style. However, in my experience, design concepts presented have inspired a different style of messaging in the client. So although content drives design, sometimes design takes content for an unexpected ride!
